Smokey is a friendly fellow who should mature to be a nice stout colt
with size. His sire is a natural athlete and jumper and his dam comes
from Weller Ranch in SD, where they produce fine riding and cattle
working horses. Both parents have good dispositions . Iris was
started under saddle this year and has smooth movement with a lot of
reach under herself. Smokey maybe be homozygous for black if you are
interested in a stallion prospect. I believe he will make a very good
tempered riding gelding as well, and is flashy enough for the show ring.
Smokey is being handled daily.
